"I have had two (2) occasions to work with Vicki Crenshaw before she formed her own company, Crenshaw Consulting Group. The first one 1 worked directly for Vickie Crenshaw taking roof samples for her after a hail storm. The group was quite large with many top personnel accompanying the group. Vickie was professional, not only in the accuracy of what she wanted but also her command of all the different roof systems and her control of the whole group. On the second occasion, I had the pleasure with approximately 150 other people to hear her lecture on weather related damages to roof systems. There were three (3) speakers that day and I would believe that everyone would say that she was the most impressive speaker.

There are three (3) important things that make a job run well. First the pre-bid meeting; which is usually held at the job site. Some firms hand out very large binders and books mainly to impress their clients. Vickie's pre-bid was conducted in a manner that left no questions unanswered and every participant knew what they had to bid and what was expected to be on the bid documents. Second, the pre-construction meeting has to accomplish all of the logistic aspects of the job and also reassure the owner that everything is going to be handled professionally. The meeting hit all targets and included all personnel that could be affected by the re-roof operation. The third is a competent inspection service, which can relate equally well to the owner plus the contractor and create a communication in case something goes wrong; that it could be taken care of immediately. This is very important ms we all know things don't always go as we plan. This was well orchestrated and any minor problems stayed minor problems.
